Scope

 Coordination and execution of customer orders in accordance with their requirements and /or procedures based on BDP Ethics.

 Responsibilities

 
• Building strong customer relationships providing them full visibility on progress through proactive communication 
• Coordination/follow up of the shipment 
• Non-conformance reporting in accordance with the KPI’s. 
• Co-operation with approved subcontractors in accordance with agreed rates 
• Meeting financial end of month deadlines both accruals and sales invoices 
• End to end processing 
• Punctual and flawless order handling and documentation 
• Feedback to the customer (internal and external reporting of the shipments to the customer) by   various means (mail, phone, EDI)
• Planning and booking of shipments to meet the customer’s required arrival dates. 
• Opening job files and updating our in-house computer system daily. 
• Co-ordinating orders with customers and with PSA BDP offices on a worldwide basis. 
• Dealing with a full range of documentation formalities, to include bills of lading, certificates of   origin etc. 
• Assisting other departments or undertaking other duties as required

 Qualifications/Experience

 • Good English communication skills both spoken and written. (B1 English level (Intermediate) or higher levels)

• Preferable a professional degree by a licensed educational institution specialised in logistics and forwarding. 

• Computer literacy with Microsoft Software applications and /or other market leading software applications.

• Ability to take instruction and work methodically.
