BESTSELLER is looking for a Merchandiser to join our Sourcing team.

Your responsibilities

As a Merchandiser you will be reporting to Merchandising Manager who is responsible direct and indirect sourcing processes.

·       Follow the whole development and production processes,

·       Provide the efficient coordination and communication between the office, supplier and the customer,

·       Ensure the product quality and on time shipment,

·       Organize, attend or host collection/design trips in both Türkiye & Denmark

·       Perform style research and development for the brand, follow fashion trends, new fabrics, trims and techniques,

·       Promote the strengths of the market to grow business in Türkiye

·       Negotiate for the best deal to secure targeted markups to get the best prices according to the most suitable qualities,

·       Supplier research and directing products towards right channels,

·       Coordinating with Quality department to ensure delivered goods are manufactured in accordance with relevant standards and regulations,

·       Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and search for new resources for new products.

Qualifications

·         University degree preferably in Textile Engineering,

·         Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role

·         Good understanding of textile production,

·         Good sense of fashion and follow up trends,

·         Have strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills,

·         Well organized and strong daily follow up skills, 

·         Advanced computer skills- Good command of Excel and PowerPoint,

·         Fluent in both written and spoken English and Turkish,

·         Willing to travel abroad.
