We are looking for an “Executive Pastry Chef” who is dynamic, pro-active and enthusiastic, innovative and has strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

·         Minimum 3 years experience as Executive Pastry Chef in 5-star International Hotel chain.

·         Knowledgeable of food safety regulations.

·         Thorough knowledge of bakery/ pastry methods, procedures.

·       Ability to work independently, thrive under pressure in challenging circumstances and come up with proactive, rational solutions.

·         To supervise and co-ordinates all preparation/presentation

·         To plan production in order to facilitate all daily requirements

·         To ensure appropriate cost control

·         To liaise with suppliers to ensure adequate quality of deliveries

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Ability to establish and retain effective working relationships with hotel staff and clients/vendors.

·         Ability to identify and delegate tasks effectively.

·         Excellent organizational and time management skills.

·         Applies a professional, confidential and ethical approach at all times.
