Senior Data Engineer

Desired Qualifications 

- Graduated from the departments of Computer, Industrial or similar engineering fields of universities.

- At least 5 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.

- Preferably experienced in banking and finance.

- Experienced in data architecture and ETL design, collection, processing, and analysis of log data in analytical projects.

- Data modeling and creation of financial data marts.

- Knowledgeable or experienced in data integration and ETL tools (Informatica, Qlik Replicate), data flow platforms (Apache Kafka), and Elasticsearch.

- Advanced knowledge of SQL, databases, and data modeling.

- Experience working in different big data environments.

- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

- Proactively solving problems and taking preventive actions.

- Good command of written and spoken English.

- Knowledgeable in CI/CD processes (Openshift, Kubernetes, Azure Devops).

- Proficient in Agile working methodology.

- Experienced in data warehouse designs and architecture (Snowflake, Star schema, ETL vs ELT).

Job Description

- Collection of the bank's corporate and big data, defining data sources and data models using Informatica and Qlik Replicate.

- Management of real-time data flows and their integration into MS SQL Server and other databases.

- Development of integrations between the bank's data inventory, data catalog, data security products, and big data platforms, especially using Informatica and Qlik Replicate tools.

- End-to-end advancement of ETL process design, development of effective and efficient data flow strategies for data processing and visualization projects.

- Working with NoSQL and SQL data.

- Creation and monitoring of data quality rules.

- Developing solutions in accordance with data architectural standards and big data processing needs.

- Adoption of best practices in data ownership, data classification, data management, and security.

- Knowledgeable in decision support systems and experienced in creating datasets for this purpose.

- Eager to work with current technologies and contribute to the team (Python, preliminary research of open-source products and their best practices).

- There will be the possibility of hybrid work.
