Who are you?

An experienced E&I Maintenance Engineer taking responsibility for maintenance activities within discipline (troubleshooting, inspection, testing, maintaining, repairing, cleaning, and calibrating instrumentation and solid-state and microprocessor-based control equipment including plant communications, equipment, programmable controllers, distributive control systems, generator excitation equipment, battery chargers, and semi-conductor devices).

Qualifications:

·         B.S.M.S. in Electrical Engineering.

·         Good knowledge of operation and maintenance processes in O&G industry.

·         Good knowledge in the use and maintenance of instrumentation equipment.

·         Understanding of electrical & instrumentation standards (e.g. NEC, IEEE, ANSI, IEC etc.).

·         Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex systems tests.

·         Good organisational and prioritisation skills.

·         Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as an E&I engineer, preferably in the O&G industry.

·         Proficiency in English. Knowledge of Turkish is highly recommended.

·         Computer knowledge of MS Excel and Word.

Job Description:

·         Troubleshooting, inspection, testing, maintaining, repairing, cleaning, and calibrating instrumentation and solid-state and microprocessor-based control equipment including plant communications, equipment, programmable controllers, distributive control systems, generator excitation equipment, battery chargers, and semi-conductor devices.

·         Serving as a subject matter expert in equipment failures and repair techniques during root cause investigations.

·         Executing the planned maintenance of plant equipment with the E&I team and external resources.

·         Collaborating with the Engineering team in relation to systems upgrades.

·         Updating / improving existing plant systems.

·         Installing, mounting, or modifying plant instrument, and controlling the equipment as directed by the E&I Lead Engineer.

·         Planning and carrying out scheduled maintenance.

·         Responding to emergencies.
