ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER

Wanted Qualifications:

• Graduated from Environmental Engineering departments of universities.

• At least 3 years of experience, especially in Environment, Waste Management, Carbon Footprint and Sustainability

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Good command of MS Office applications.

• Analytical thinking and problem solving skills.

• Good planning, reporting and organizational skills and effective communication skills.

• Prone to teamwork.

Job Description:

• Fulfillment of obligations under waste and environmental legislation regulations.

• Following the newly published and/or amended regulations, determining the changed or new obligations and their possible effects, reporting to the relevant units.

• Carrying out relations with official institutions and associations and representing the company.

• Managing waste from the facility in accordance with company rules, environmental management systems and laws.

• Managing service procurement and contract processes for waste management.

• Within the scope of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) certification:

                        o Preparation and updating of environmental management system documentation.

                        o Conducting and updating environmental dimension and impact assessments and risk-opportunity analyses.

                        o Defining, updating and meeting compliance obligations.

                        o Determination of annual “goals and objectives” for the environmental management system.

                        o Monitoring and measurement results of the environmental management system.

                        o Training planning for the continuity and awareness of the environmental management system.

                        o Making necessary notifications to official institutions in case of environmental accidents and environmental emergencies.

                       o 3. Representing the company in party audits.

                       o Making presentations at management review meetings.

• Taking part in the sustainability team and preparing the sections on environment, waste and carbon emissions in the report.

• Providing support for Corporate Carbon Footprint calculation.

• Ensuring that registrations are made to the Ministry system within the scope of the “Registration, Evaluation and Restriction of Chemicals” regulation.
