Role: Quantity Surveyor I Cost Control

Role:

We are seeking Cost Control Engineer with 5 years experinece in high end fit out and refurbishment projects to join us in our Istanbul offices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Construction 
• Experience of working with contractor on High and retail Projects, Quantity Surveying or similar Role
• Good understanding of all aspects of surveying and contractual procedures
• Understanding of the financial implications of the methods and sequences of build
• In-depth knowledge of the construction industry
• Good knowledge of commercial and financial management systems and controls
• Strong people management and excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Turkish
• A team player who demonstrates both leadership and supportive qualities
• Strong technical/construction background and knowledge with Proven track record and excellent organization skills.
• Proficient in Autocad,MS Office Word, Excel and Projects

Responsibilities

• Preparing and agreeing monthly interim valuations and final accounts
• Recording, costing and agreeing contract variations. 
• Internal monthly cost/value reconciliation cost reports
• Subcontract procurement including preparing tender enquiries, reconciling quotations and placing subcontract orders
• Management notification and payment of subcontract interim and final accounts
• Managing payment of consultants interim and final accounts
• Day to day cost control and cashflow forecastingSupervise health and safety protocols on site
• Maintaining and developing professional relationships.
• Provide administrative support to the construction team
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
• Organize and maintain project files and documents
• Generally assisting the management team when needed.
