QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an Technical Office Chief for our operations in Libreville, Gabon with the following qualifications;

General Qualifications;

  • Barchelor's degree in Civil Engineering Department,
  • At least 10 years of experience in large-scale and international superstructure projects such as Airports, Hotels and Hospitals,
  • Good command of verbal and written French, English can be second language,
  • Able to use Autocad, MS Office, Primavera, MS Project programs at an advanced level,
  • Advanced planning and organizational skills, able to adapt to intense work tempo, follower, dynamic,
  • Be able to master the details,
  • Having an international vision, being disciplined, successful in human relations, and having management and leadership qualities,

Job Description;

Being capable of executing below jobs,

  • Coordination of related work between site & head office,
  • Preparation of subcontractor progress reports, performance monitoring and coordination,
  • Identifying manufacturing items and calculating manufacturing quantities from the design drawings,
  • Preparing the main and detailed work program of the project, making periodic checks and updates,
  • Preparing and checking periodical construction site reports,
  • Transferring progress payments, material costs, general expenses and other payments to the budget tracking system,
  • Making up to date reporting of the budget and any deviations,
  • Preparing monthly and periodic cash flow programs and keeping them up to date,
  • Following logistics processes to satisfy the needs of site teams,
  • Making engineering cost calculations,
  • Preparation of periodical cost reports and analyses,
  • Coordinating with the warehouse, logistics and local purchasing department,
  • Opening a tender for the required materials at the project location, comparing and analyzing the offers and then presenting them to the project management,
  • Preparation of local contracts at the project location,
  • Preparing an official letter to the employer, tracking documentation, preparing progress payments, and following meeting and coordination processes,
  • Preparation of senior management project presentations and reports.
