Financial Controller Job Description

·        Supports Finance Leader in all financial related matters

·        Responsible for month end closing activities and preparation of financial reports in accordance with IFRS/German GAAP and group requirements

·        Provides all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasts, analysis, internal controls and risk review processes, in line with IFRS/GAP and group policies

·        Ensures the accuracy of our financials and analysis of financial reports to top management, evaluating and interpreting variances of financial results and targets

·        Conducts and reports internal risk analyses including initiating the corrective and the  improvement actions

·        Lead or actively participate in special projects that meet the needs of the company and/or enhance efficiency and streamline department processes and procedures.

·        Taking active role in global expansion planning and execution process in terms of finance and accounting

·        Reporting to CFO

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor Degree in Management / Finance /Economics (Accounting, Controlling, Business Administration),
• At least 3 years of auditing experience in one of the big four audit companies
• Experience in preparing financial forecasts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements
• Analytical thinking, detail oriented, problem-solving attitude
• Highly motivated self-starter and comfortable taking initiative to drive operational changes within the company
• Be highly analytical, detail oriented and problem solver together with exceptional critical thinking skills,
• Willingness of self-development and continuous learning activities,
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of Turkish accounting standards and IFRS,
• Good knowledge of MS Office programs is a must, efficient in using excel for financial analysis and modelling
• SAP Knowdledge is plus
