We are looking for Design Coordinator at Head Office in Istanbul, Seyrantepe.

Qualifications

• B.Arch or B.Sc in Architecture,
• M.Sc in Architecture and/or Interior Design preferable,
• Minimum 15 years post graduate experience,
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken). Knowledge of French is an added value,
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, word processing and presentation programs, knowledge of REVIT preferable,
• Developed architectural design skills and understanding of the design process and interfaces between design discipline,
• Extensive project experience on hospitality, healthcare, office, residential, congress center projects and/or similar projects,
• Experience on similar roles in international / multicultural / multi-disciplinary team environment,
• Developed knowledge of Fire & Life Safety and Sustainable Design principles,
• High sense of responsibility, adaptability to strict deadlines,
• Team leader with good organizational and analytical skills,
• Effective and strong communication ability, cordial relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Professional discretion and confidentiality,
• Ability to travel and spend enough time at overseas construction sites.

Job Description

• Coordinate and lead the assigned team of Architects, Interior designers, Structural & MEP designers, and all other project consultants, including but not limited with the acoustics, lighting, landscape consultants; on a day-to-day basis and ensure that design excellence is achieved throughout,
• Develop a thorough design philosophy, effectively contributing to the inception and the development of a project,
• Lead the design work ensuring project objectives are met, design instructions are implemented and delivery is achieved within design planning/budget,
• Responsible for the correctness, accuracy and complete multi-disciplinary coordination of the design documentation prepared by the assigned team,
• Coordinate and develop responses to review comments, tender queries, assigned deign teams', client’s and sub-contractors’ queries, etc.,
• Responsible, with guidance from senior team members (Project Director/Coordinator), for the preparation and compilation of design presentations and design reports,
• Ability to coordinate design inputs and outputs with the construction site team.
