QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Sales & Reservations Director who will work closely with colleagues from all departments, and develop an in-depth understanding of the business and its customers and leverage this knowledge to effectively implement a multi-faceted sales and delivery strategy.

Objectives & responsibilities

· Develop and maintain successful relationships with all key clients, generating new business and maintaining inbound business in line with targets set by the Commercial Director.

· Identify and develop relationships with local businesses and communities to identify new business opportunities.

· Deliver maximum revenues from all new events and negotiate long term contracts in line with agreed targets.

· Manage accounts and diary diligently via Booking System in order to identify and maximise opportunities for event sales.

· Manage reservations

· Generate additional income through upselling the facilities of the venue and driving ancillary spend to maintain and where possible, increase the overall profitability of each specific event type.

· Provide and promote the highest level of end to end customer service

· Work in partnership with Marketing and Commercial teams to maximise the profitability of all content across the tvg portfolio.

Required skills and qualifications

· Experience of programming, promoting, and booking a range of special events in a venue environment.

· A proven track record of delivering profitable events.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Turkish

· Basic level contract development and contract management.

· Ability to confidently deliver to a high standard of oral communication both within and outside of the organisation.

· Effective networker and good at establishing rapport with industry and colleagues alike.

· Preferred skills and qualifications

· Event Management / Sales Degree or equivalent years’ experience.
