SHEQ ENGINEER

We are looking for a “SHEQ Engineer” for the Turkiye branch of our globally operating distribution company, specializing in steel pipes, pipe and tube applications. We are active in virtually all industrial sectors. Van Leeuwen is headquartered in Zwijndrecht, the Netherlands, and globally active with 70 branches spread throughout Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, and North America.

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are in search of a " SHEQ Engineer" with the following qualifications for our company operating in the automotive, industry, and energy sectors.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferably graduated from the Engineering (Industry, Machinery, Materials / Metallurgy) departments of universities
• Having a minimum of 2 years or more experience in the manufacturing sector,
• Good knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / ISO 14001 / ISO 27001 / ISO 45001)
• Experienced in Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) Certification program
• Documentation management skills
• Knowledge and experience in APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC,” and MSA applications
• Experienced in the preparation and execution of system documentation required for sustainable quality management
• Experienced in problem solving techniques (8D, Fishbone, 5N etc.) and systematic quality tools
• Knowledge in Sustainability Practices and Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) rules
• Experienced in MS Office programs (specifically MS Excel)
• Good in English language,
• High verbal and written communication skills,
• Stress management skills, prone to teamwork,
• Class B driving license and active driving skills,
• Military service should be completed for male candidates,

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Ensure the follow-up, coordination, and reporting of all the products of the quality assurance department,
• Fulfill the requirements of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and to ensure its continuity, to make process arrangements and process flow follow-ups,
• Fulfill the requirements of the quality function in product commissioning processes,
• Conducting the selection and approval of control equipment that will be needed in new projects,
• Taking an active role in the measurement - improvement - and acceptance process of the project parts,
• Taking an active role in root cause analysis and corrective action studies for customer complaints,
• Taking an active role in customer and certification audits,
• Participating and conducting PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, control plan studies,
• To carry out the work to be done within the framework of ISO 14001, Environmental Law and Occupational Health and Safety,
• Fulfill the duties of an Occupational Safety Specialist per the relevant legislation,
• Ensure that corrective and preventive actions are taken to prevent the problems/risks related to the product within the scope of the quality system and that their practices are followed,
• Providing the necessary information and coordination with the units it interacts with,
• Monitoring and reporting of production quantities,
• General follow-up of production processes, quality assurance compliance controls,
• Inspection of the maintenance and efficiency of production equipment.
