VITSAN is looking for a Marine Surveyor for H&M surveys in Turkey, İstanbul.

• Graduated from the universities’ Marine Engineer / Naval Architect departments,
• Seagoing experience as an Officer or Chief Engineer or previous experience as a Class Surveyor would be an advantage,
• Survey experience in a different Marine Survey Company would be an advantage,
• Fluent English and advanced verbal and written communication skills are required,
• Driving license,
• Ability to travel within Turkiye as needed for survey,
• Ability to prepare the survey report in English,
  

• Inspection at Ship and Port to determine the extent/cause and cost of damages within the scope of ship insurance,
• Protection & Indemnity – P&I and Hull & Machinery - H&M) Condition Survey at Ships,
• Based on survey findings, prepare the report in English for the Ship Insurance Company (training regarding reporting will be provided within the Company),
